Diversity Mixers
About Us
In 2015, Diversity Mixers founder Jobany Bedoya, saw the need for local small business owners & community leaders to connect and exchange resources. He identified a gap between the thriving LatinX Market and the already established anglo market. That’s where the Diversity Mixers were born. The effort then evolved from networking to small business resources, consulting, and nonprofit board culture training. As a proven community leader combined with his work experiences, Jobany has the unique viewpoint of both the public and private sectors ranging from bank & retail management, loan underwriting, nonprofit development, and business ownership.

Project Management
Project management refers to the tasks that go into organizing a team to accomplish a specific objective or series of objectives by a specified deadline. You feel constantly bombarded by tasks left and right, and putting together a project plan and executing it sounds complex and time-consuming. But in reality, it will save you a ton of time and ensure that you complete projects without causing undue stress on you or the rest of your company.

Marketing
As you may have guessed, a small business marketing consultant has the power to create a marketing strategy that helps your business improve key metrics like site traffic and sales, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Your brand style and voice are two of the most recognizable things about your brand.
If you’re just starting out as a small business, it’s crucial that you establish your brand almost immediately. Establishing your brand up front will help with brand recognition and bring humility to your business that’s relatable to interested shoppers.
Small business marketing consultants can help you develop this personality so that users are more likely to remember you. If you already have a style and voice that you’re satisfied with, your small business marketing consultant can help you expand your brand to your entire marketing strategy.
As online marketing continues to evolve and get more complex, one of the most requested needs is on how to manage social media. That’s why we suggest hiring a social media consultant. Social media consultants are individuals or agencies who work with clients to improve upon, optimize and grow their social media presence. Some of the major benefits of hiring a social media consultant are:
- Increase Brand awareness
- Legitimize your brand
- Increase website traffic and SEO ranking
- Lead generation at minimal cost
- Boost content marketing
- Provides better audience insight

With over 15 years of experience and training in the nonprofit board world, we can offer direct insight on how to handle challenges or improve your nonprofit culture.
How many benefits can your organization gain by working with a consultant? A lot. A common one is to increase the funding available to you. But, consultants can also help you make activities work, provide decision information and teach you skills. And, when you are stuck or circling, the right consultant can help you create movement in the direction you want to go. Finally, one of the most important reasons to hire a non-profit consultant is to discover ideas that make your non-profit organization stronger.
We also offer one on one or group training and coaching opportunities on Board Culture, Parlamentary procedures, Robert’s Rules of Order, Organizational Chart structures, Board Structures and strategies, Fundraising strategies, and much more.
Workplace Spanish Training
As our workforce continues to grow and diversify, the need to understand other languages and cultures becomes more important for all levels within an organization. Our Spanish in the workforce program allows for our bilingual experts to teach your management and executive teams industry-specific terminology that will allow for better communication. Many times management feels they need to hire a bilingual person in order to achieve better communication between the Spanish and English-speaking workforce. The truth is, it gets very difficult trying to hire a bilingual manager, not to mention the competitive market we’re currently seeing post-covid. Save time, money, and headaches by hiring us to facilitate bilingual communication techniques to your managers. We’ll customize the curriculum to fit your industry needs and provide all the resources needed to get everyone on the same page.
